Research subject: Heat Recovery Enhancement Using Thermoelectric Generators
Theoretical and experimental analysis of thermoelectric generators (TEG)
Studying improving the performance of TEG when used in heat recovery from industrial chimneys. This is achieved by improving the cooling of the cold side.
Analyzed theoretically (using ANSYS) cooling the TEG by natural convection only
Analyzed experimentally cooling the TEG modules using Heat pipes and liquid-cooling systems (Experiments performed in TiTech - Japan)

I am part of a research team developing and optimizing tools used with drill pipes during wellbore drilling. These tools improve the cleaning of wellbores and prevent cuttings' sedimentation.
My role is to simulate the two-phase flow (Solid + liquid) around the drill pipe using ANSYS Fluent to predict the effectiveness of the designed tool.

I am part of a research team investigating theoretically and experimentally the possibility of mixing cement slurry with additives downhole an oil well using a static mixer.
My role is to investigate the mixing efficiency using CFD and to design a test rig to verify it experimentally.
